About TokenSense
TokenSense sits between n8n and model providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini, logging tokens, cost and latency per workflow and blocking requests once a budget is hit. It works by swapping the base URL in n8n credentials, or through the n8n-nodes-tokensense community node first published in April 2026. The developer says the Starter plan is free for 10,000 AI requests a month.
